City of Marysville, Kansas

A Kansas city audit dashboard — actual receipts and expenditures for the year ended December 31, 2025, on the Kansas regulatory basis, not a budget and not a forecast.

Basis — read this first: every figure on this page comes from the City's audited financial statement for the year ended December 31, 2025 (Varney & Associates, CPAs), prepared on the Kansas Municipal Audit and Accounting Guide (KMAAG) regulatory basis. Regulatory-basis statements report cash and unencumbered cash, not capital assets or long-term debt on a balance sheet; debt is disclosed in the notes and reported here from Note 4. The City held a revenue neutral rate hearing for the year and adopted no budget amendments.

Sources & notes

  • Only source used: City of Marysville, Kansas, Financial Statement, December 31, 2025 (Varney & Associates, CPAs). Read the statement (PDF).
  • Sum checks: the all-funds receipts, expenditures, and ending-balance columns each sum exactly to the Statement 1 totals; the General Fund reconciles ($449,679 + $3,144,296 − $2,859,751 = $734,224); the debt table sums exactly to $3,932,517 and the maturity schedule's principal column sums to the same total.
  • What is missing: no General Fund department breakdown is shown because that schedule was not extracted; no figure on this page is estimated or carried from another year.
  • City palette: no verified Marysville palette was on file, so this page uses the neutral Hometown Numbers dark-glass theme rather than a city color.
