Amador County, California

Unofficial demonstration dashboard for Amador County, California, built from its audited Annual Financial Report for the year ended June 30, 2025.

Basis — read this first: every figure on this page comes from the County of Amador Annual Financial Report for the year ended June 30, 2025, audited by Smith & Newell CPAs (unmodified opinion, Government Auditing Standards). This is an audit of actual results, not a budget: figures below are FY 2024-25 actuals. Disclosed: the report's highlights say total net position "increased by $18,014,065" while the Statement of Activities change is $16,724,692 — the difference is the $1,289,373 change in accounting principle (GASB 101, compensated absences) restating beginning net position; $16,724,692 + $1,289,373 = $18,014,065, so both statements reconcile and neither is used alone.
